The legendary Cockatoo… an elegant, intelligent species and one of Australia’s favorite birds without a shadow of a doubt! Cockatoo’s epitomize love, affection and compassion, and Suki McMaster tried to represent this within her painting. Commonly known as the ‘love sponges’ of the parrots, she wanted to draw this picture inspire and motivate us all to be more loving human beings; to select love over hate, to forgive rather than hold grudges and to choose a stunning smile over a ferocious frown.
